The theme is overcoming any obstacle with courage and determination. external conflict is displayed through the rough land she has to travel to get to town. She also experiences conflict by how she is perceived in the clinic. This is written in omniscient limited.
Aunt Phoenix is a woman I hope to be someday. A woman who inspit of hard times will be able to see through the bush and look to the prize. Aunt Phoenix is like my Grandma who passed away. In spite of an unhealthy marriage she survived and became a Christian woman. She held strong until her last days. She also showed great strength in the time of . Therefore, I want to be like Aunt Phoenix and my grandma.
