Throughout this act we see tremendous areas of foreshadowing. There is the rubber hose on the furnace, as well as Linda's shielding of Willy and her refusal to see there is anything wrong with him. Conflict is seen once again both internally, Willy and self, as well as externally, Willy and Biff. Flashbacks are see as we see Willy with a woman on a sells trip. I feel this is when Biff learns how to mistreat women. He has had the ultimate DREAM of the perfect man shattered. He now sees his father as a NORMAL man no longer a HERO. Biff is now the foil. The women in this drama are static characters as well as Ben, Charley, Julie , Howard and many others. During the resolution Linda is heard stating We're free, we're free, we're free. I seen this is the resolution to the many years of untold conflict. Maybe just maybe Linda knew all along Willy wasn't faithful to her. The traveling salesman was indeed TRAVELING. From one bed to another to make his sales. Maybe is this where the saying originated the milkman made it.
Over all I enjoyed this drama. I see glimpses of my grandparents. My dads father was a lot like Willy and my grandma was a Linda. She stood by her man through thick and thin. Would I stand by my husband? I think so, due to the fact I truly love him.

Nice analysis! You made some really original observations. I just now read these posts, so I didn't realize that you needed the review for drama. May I attach it to an e-mail? Let me know!
